yesterday the owner and i were invited to share a red sox game. somebody's boss not using his season's tix that day, so we pounced on the chance.
first, brunch, me and the girls (not very girly, i confess, and nary a pink sox tee among us) which was delicious and some run-ins with people we quite like. champagne and eggs with an unintentionally hilarious server. yeah, good.
the day started cold, but the sun was bright and determined. met up with the owner at the sold-out park and commenced to baseball and guinness. great seats, great game. sox won, even though some of their giants are still struggling. (papi, c'mon now...) a day game at fenway is pure pleasure, truly.
returned here with vague notions of late afternoon sunshine and pizza. owner revised my sound system much to everybody's happiness, although eventually i know it will be to my neighbors' annoyance, lol.
the wine and beer flowed, pizza was eventually had and the sun set over a different baseball game in my park.
my face hurt from laughing so hard.
food, friends, baseball, wine and music. and sex. a very good day. :)
